Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Please reach us at amanda@tinycastledreams.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

Tiny Castle Dreams primary goal is to maximize your sleep while ensuring your baby is safe and nurtured. A typical shift includes feeding the baby (or bringing them to you if you are nursing), burping, changing, soothing back to sleep, and washing/sterilizing bottles and pump parts before leaving in the morning.

Absolutely. We provide full support for your feeding choices. For nursing mothers, we will bring the baby to you when it is time to feed and quietly take them back once finished so you can immediately return to sleep. For pumping or formula-feeding mothers, we can handle the entire feeding process downstairs or in the nursery so you aren't disturbed.

While newborns have biological limits, we focus on gentle "sleep shaping." This means implementing safe sleep environments, identifying optimal wake windows, and building healthy sleep cues so your baby naturally moves toward longer sleep stretches.

In the nursery or a designated living area near the baby. We monitor the infant continuously and remain awake or alert to care for them immediately when they wake.

Overnight shifts generally last between 8 to 12 hours. A standard schedule is 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM, but we are happy to adjust start and end times to better fit your family's evening and morning routines.

Because overnight availability is limited, it is highly recommended to book during your second or third trimester to secure your dates around your estimated due date.

Simply click the "Contact Us" button on the homepage! We will set up a quick 15-minute phone or video call to discuss your due date, goals, and customized care plan. You can also always reach out on all social media platforms.

All short-term travel itineraries are governed by our strict 24-hour grace period framework. If travel delays

force a client to cancel or shift a scheduled night with less than 48 hours’ written notice, the client's prepaid hour

bank is automatically billed for 50% of that shift's total scheduled value. If the client completely fails to notify the

agency prior to the mandatory 8:00 PM shift launch, it is legally classified as a "Client Lockout/No-Show" and

consumes a full 10 hours from their active hour bank balance.

Holiday hours disappear at an accelerated rate. Per Section VI of the Master Care Agreement, shifts

commencing on a designated holiday carry a 1.5x holiday multiplier. A single 10-hour premium overnight

holiday shift will drain exactly 15 hours from the client’s prepaid bank account (10 hours × 1.5 multiplier). Clients

are explicitly warned of this accelerated burn rate prior to holiday execution.

Yes. Clients can instantly purchase a subsequent 40, 80, or 120-hour block at our standard premium rate of

$55/hour to retain care. However, please note that any new hour bank is treated as a separate, independent

itinerary window with its own distinct operational expiration date; unused hours from a previous block can never

roll over or combine.

Local multi-week contracts utilizing Option B (Installments) follow an automated three-part equal split

timeline that must clear before milestones are triggered:

1. Part 1 (The Retainer): Paid 100% upfront at contract execution to legally lock the dates on our corporate

calendar.

2. Part 2 (Active Launch): Processed automatically on Day 1 of active care when the specialist arrives for the

initial shift.

3. Part 3 (The Midpoint): Processed automatically at the exact midpoint of the 4-week cycle (Day 14 of active

care).

Local packages (Tiers 1 and 2) require a strict foundational 4-week minimum commitment, and Tier 3

requires a 2-week minimum commitment. Under our Liquidated Damages Clause, any client-initiated

cancellation or termination prior to the completion of this mandatory commitment window results in the

immediate forfeiture of the complete remaining contract balance. No refunds, partial credits, or pro-rated

balances are issued.

No. To maintain stable, predictable schedules for our W-2 workforce, clients must commit to a single primary

tier for their mandatory minimum commitment block. Upgrading a package mid-contract requires signing a

formal contract addendum and re-calculating the upfront reservation retainer.

Because our W-2 staff are strictly barred from entering client homes if they exhibit a fever or contagious

respiratory symptoms, the Agency Backup Clause activates. The agency retains an immediate 24-to-48 hour

window to deploy an equal-tier backup Specialist or RN. In the rare event that a backup staff member is entirely

unavailable, the Agency Director will handle the overnight shift personally or issue an immediate corresponding service credit back to the client.

Texas labor laws mandate that you, as the employer, must pay W-2 staff 1.5x their base rate for any

physical hours worked past 40 hours in a single standard workweek. To preserve agency profit margins, no

individual Tiny Castle Dream Specialist or RN may be scheduled for more than four (4) nights per week

(maximum 40 hours) across standard accounts. If a client demands 5 to 7 nights of continuous, round-the-clock

coverage, the shift schedule must be split and paired between two separate specialists.

We operate as a private-pay, luxury concierge agency. We do not accept or file directly with commercial

medical insurance providers. However, depending on your individual plan and provider, our clinical oversight

services may qualify for reimbursement through your Health Savings Account (HSA) or Flexible Spending

Account (FSA). We can provide an itemized superbill upon request to assist with your personal claims.
